Celebrating 2026 Champs-Élysées Chinese New Year
Since 2022, Altervip Group has actively co-organized the Chinese New Year cultural celebrations on the Champs-Élysées, contributing to the growing presence of Chinese culture on one of the world’s most iconic avenues.
The events were jointly organized with Groupe Barrière in 2022 and 2025, and with the Paris Marriott Champs Elysées Hotel in 2023 and 2024. In 2026, Altervip Group will once again collaborate with both Groupe Barrière and the Paris Marriott Champs Elysées Hotel to present a vibrant Chinese New Year parade on February 1.
The Champs-Élysées Chinese New Year Parade has become a landmark cultural event in Paris, bringing together traditional dragon and lion dances, martial arts, folk performances, and multicultural participation.
By celebrating the Lunar New Year in a shared public space, the event highlights the universal values of vitality, harmony, and renewal, while strengthening cultural dialogue and people-to-people exchanges between China and France.

CHINESE NEW YEAR OF THE HORSE 2026 OFFICIAL LUNCH
On the occasion of the 2026 Chinese New Year, under the sign of the Horse, the Paris Marriott Champs Elysées Hotel is pleased to welcome its guests for an official lunch celebrating this iconic festival of Chinese culture.
On Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, this event will bring together partners, institutions, and notable personalities for a moment of conviviality and sharing, in the heart of the Champs-Élysées. The program will include official speeches, a group photo, a refined lunch, as well as traditional lion and dragon dances, accompanied by a symbolic Chinese New Year ceremony.
This festive lunch will honor the values of renewal, prosperity, and harmony, while strengthening cultural exchanges between France and China in a prestigious setting.

Spring Festival Celebration on the Champs-Élysée
On February 2, 2025, the Champs-Élysées was transformed into a spectacular stage for the biggest Chinese New Year celebration in Paris!
With the support of the 8th District City Hall and the Paris Police Department, this grand event was co-organized by us with
Comité de Champs-Elysées, Office du Tourisme de Chine en France, Barrière Groupe, ACDECF, Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, and Agence BORUI, with our supporting partners: China Southern Airline, Lions Club Paris Asian Club, and BIG.
Over 200,000 people gathered to witness the stunning
dragon and lion dances! A mesmerizing Hanfu parade brought traditional Chinese fashion to the streets of Paris. The perfect fusion of Chinese heritage and Parisian elegance created an unforgettable celebration!

Spring Festival Celebration at Mairie de Paris Centre
On Feb 21. 2026 and February 9, 2025, Altervip with the Mairie de Paris Centre hosted a vibrant New Year celebration, bringing together esteemed guests from the Chinese Embassy in France, the French Chinese Community Association, and various leaders from different sectors to warmly welcome the arrival of the Year of the Snake.
The celebration commenced with the presence of Ariel Weil, the Mayor of Paris Centre, Mr. Wan Lei, an advisor from the Chinese Embassy, and Mr. Zheng Jinbiao, President of the Chinese Community Association, along with Vice President Mr. Liu Xiaoyong. They performed the traditional lion dance eye-dotting ceremony, symbolizing good fortune and prosperity for the new year. Amidst the applause of the audience, the lion dance showcased its dynamic movements, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.
The artistic performances during the event captivated the audience, filling the venue with thunderous applause. Visions France extends heartfelt gratitude to all the guests, performers, and partners for their unwavering support!




Lantern Festival Celebration at Renaissance Tour Eiffel
On February 12, 2025, we celebrated the Lantern Festival at the Renaissance, marking a joyful conclusion to the Chinese New Year festivities. The event featured speeches from Ms. Wang Li, Deputy Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Chinese Embassy in France, and Mr. Philippe Liu, President of the Sino-French Friendship Association.
The program included heartfelt speeches, during which Chinese Fu Calligraphies were presented to the VIPs, symbolizing good luck and prosperity. Guests also enjoyed a photo opportunity at the "Wishing Tree," where they could hang their wishes for the new year.
The celebration featured a variety of engaging activities, including a DIY lantern workshop, where attendees could create their own beautiful lanterns, and a Hanfu fitting session, allowing everyone to experience traditional Chinese attire. Guests savored delicious Tangyuan, Baijiu, and Shodai, adding a delightful culinary touch to the festivities.
The evening concluded with a cocktail session at the Renaissance and an exciting raffle draw, offering guests a chance to win special prizes. This Lantern Festival was a wonderful celebration of culture, community, and friendship, bringing together people from all walks of life to share in the joy of the season.



Paris Fashion Week
Altervip, together with the famous designer Laurence Xu and Prince Gong's Palace, successfully held a grand fashion show at Salle Wagram in Paris. This collaboration combines traditional Chinese culture with modern fashion, presenting a unique visual feast at a famous European venue.
Cannes Film Festival
The "Soirée Rencontre Chine à Cannes" was organized by ParisFantastic!, the leading high-end Chinese travel magazine in France, in collaboration with VISIONS FRANCE, an event planning company based in Paris, and co-organized by Parisolaris, France. This event received full support from the pink VIP chauffeur service brand CAOCAO of the Cannes Film Festival, as well as from the fashion leather goods brand LANCASTER, the French perfume brand BURDIN, the fashion clothing brand JUBYLEE, the leading beauty group in Paris BEAUTY SUCCESS, the international spirits industry FAMANNI, the champagne brand CHAMBRICARD, and the French group ALTERVIP GROUP.
